SHIPPING & COLLECTION POLICY

  1. We endeavor to deliver your orders as quickly as possible. We deliver Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm excluding bank and public holidays.
  2. You are responsible for providing the correct address, telephone number and postal code and must be available to take delivery of all ordered product either in person or through an authorised assignee.
  3. Prior to delivery our freight company may contact you to confirm delivery details. It is your sole responsibility to be available to take this call.
  4. All deliveries are within normal business hours only and we cannot provide a specific delivery time to customers as it depends on each couriers schedules.
  5. Where a delivery fails due to your unavailability or for reasons within your control, we will do our best to schedule a new delivery time where the cost of re-delivery may be borne by you. If we are unable to arrange a date for re-delivery we may cancel your order and refund to you the price that you have paid for the goods.
  6. For health and safety reasons items will only be delivered to the exterior of a location on the ground floor of the delivery address. It is your sole responsibility to arrange for any further transport from the stated delivery address. We cannot provide any fitting, unpacking or installation services for any ordered items.
  7. Any shortfall of which you become aware must be notified to the Handyhardware.ie within two days of receipt of goods via our contact form. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 15 days of dispatch of goods via our contact form.
  8. Where orders are placed after notified last order date Handyhardware.ie does not accept responsibility for late delivery.
  9. Proof of Delivery of products(s) shall be good evidence of delivery of the specific product(s) as requested by the customer and no question shall be raised as to delivery of individual items therein. Risk in respect of goods transfers to you the buyer upon execution of delivery docket.
  10. Normal Prices are per parcel up to 29kg and include VAT. Overweight Items are over 30kg. For the avoidance of doubt the final weight is calculated by the courier an over-rides any published weight information on our website.

 

Collection Process

  1. You can opt to collect your items by selecting ‘Collect In-store’ during the checkout process.
  2. We are primarily an Online store (similar to ebay & Amazon) so most purchases are made online or via the phone for delivery or collection. Unfortunately our counter is for order collection only.
  3. Collections are from our sales office in Ballymount Drive, Dublin 12, D12 PK81. All collections must be pre-purchased online or by phone. Collections are only available Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 5pm.
  4. Collections can only be made only after a notification has been sent to you by email to indicate that your goods are ready for collection. Please do not arrive without this notification.
